The book I read this week:
After winning the 74th Hunger Games in the previous novel, Katniss and Peeta return home to District 12, the poorest sector. On the day that Katniss and Peeta are to start a "victory tour" of the country, she is visited by President Snow. President Snow explains that he is angry at her for threatening to commit suicide with Peeta at the end of the Hunger Games, which permitted them both to win. She must now prove that this was for her love of Peeta.
For the 75th Hunger Games, 24 victors from previous years will be forced to compete once again. This is in honor of the "Quarter Quell": an event that occurs every 25th year of the Games and allows the Capitol to introduce a twist.
This 2nd book of the trilogy has many twists that keep you in suspense the whole time. The book is all about survival, as well as learning to take orders that may cause your own life, so that those you love will love on. Definitely in love with this trilogy. I read this book in just a few short days, staying up way past my 'bed time' because I simply couldn't put it down.

Staying up past bedtime?! That is a sign of a good book.
all i hear are great things, yet i still have yet to read this series :)
happy friday!
This is an AWESOME series! I always get really excited when I see someone else reading it! Enjoy!!
Such a good book! I devoured both 1 and 2 right on top of each other, but I haven't read the 3rd. I'm thinking I need to read the first two and then finish the series up. :)
The 2nd was so amazing - by far my favorite. The 3rd was really disappointing to me...it just ended so sloppily.
