It's wedding time

My friend had a really beautiful, lowkey wedding last weekend. I loved every minute of it. It was outdoors, pretty leafs were on the ground everywhere. Delicious bbq chicken. A candy-bar. nice dancefloor. I had such a great time!!

 I bought this beautiful dress, and then even prettier shoes. I can't wait to wear this outfit again sometime...

Two years after he parents died, and four yours after she lost her memory, Molly Anderson decided to go visit the towns her late parents have claimed she lived in. After several failed attempts of discovering who she is, she walked into the Police Station in Ridge City and comes face to face with Officer Trent Williams. Trent turns out to her her lifetime childhood friend, and so much more.

Molly learns she has a great group of friends to support her as she tries to uncover why she suddenly left her hometown with her parents, why she lost her memory, and who she really is.

The book didn't answer many questions, but it was still a great read with a great ending. 

Baby gifts

ah!! I love babies. and gifts. and baby gifts. :) My former co-worker/friend just had twins (one boy, one girl) on Nov. 19th. The week before I was in my old town, where she lives and gave her a cute baby gift basket. four of the outfits, two sets, I made myself. I thought they were just so darling, so I had to show them off.

Anyone else want want to have twins so I can make more of these???

 

Its my BIRTHDAY WEEK!!!

birthdays are special to me. I love them. This is the pre-birthday week for me. the SHSU vs A&M football game was a birthday present for me. I bought the tickets, but I told Bo if he went with me, that would be his present to me. because I really just wanted to go to a game. well, he thought that wasn't a good enough present, and he surprised me with me an actual gift. my first birthday gift this year.

I may have told him that the key to my heart is a Nestle Crunch and a coke... (and a Victoria Secret's gift card).

Dangerous Kisses

Pretty, Blonde journalist Sydney is the first to arrive at a crime scene after handsome, jaded, cold Officer Jake Radley. He pushes her away, refusing to let her blow the cover on the serial killer running lose in town. Once Sydney becomes the next target, however, Jake vows that he will protect her at all costs, as well as capturing the horrible person committing these cold-blooded murders. This was a great book and it kept my attention throughout, waiting for something to happen. anticipation.



 

The Wife of Reilly

I have to admit, I didn’t read what this book was about before I started reading it. I typically pick my books based on if the cover picture looks appealing or not. Prudence Malone lives in New York with her husband Reilly, who is more like a roommate than a lover. One a weekend trip to her Alma Mater with a few girlfriends in Michigan, she runs into her college sweetheart, who dumped her with no explanation 15 years ago. When the college sweetheart asks her out to dinner, she blurts out that that her husband is dead. After an unforgettable weekend together, Matt impulsively proposes to Prudence. Prudence, with the help of her three best friends, set out on a new mission: to find Reilly a new wife. She feels bad to divorce Reilly and leave him wife-less. Prudence is an extremely fashionable, and even more extremely self-involved in herself. This was a good, easy book to read and it kept me interested as Prudence is not unlike a lot of women, confused about where her heart belongs. As her life takes a 180-degree turn from one way of life to another, you will begin to root for Prudence and wonder what is it she is really after, after all?



 

The Suburban Task Force

This book was very entertaining all the way to the end. Once you get past the rambling of the first person in the story, I found myself laughing though out the book. It seems very far-fetched of course, but the women in Surburban Task Force are best friends on a mission. To save their husbands. 

When North Korean military men capture an entire island and hold them hostage, three best friends, who recently took a self-defense weekend class, make it their mission to rescue the people, including their husbands that are held in a separate room than the women. This is a laugh out loud book. I could easily envision this book as a humorous movie.
